“The Fear of the Lord”

***** Proverbs: 1:7,29; 2:5; 8:13-14; 9:9-10; 10:27; 14:26-27; 15:16, 33; 16:6; 19:23; 22:4; 23:17; 2 Chronicles 4-11, Psalms 111:10.

Upon a close examination of the sacred writings of the Old Testament, as well as the New Testament canon of scripture: the record shows that the Operation of Prophecy as recorded in the annals of the history of God’s people as a nation in Old Testament Times, as well as the Prophetic Ministry which helped in the establishment of the early Church in New Testament times are absolutely paramount to the very continued development, growth and survival of any person, and people in the earth today (Acts 3:13-26; Eph.2:19-22; 3:1-6; I Pet.1:10-16; 2 Pet.1:12-21; 2 Tim.3:10-17; 2 Cor.3:1-18; 4:1-6). The role of prophecy itself has an unparalleled significance in both the formulation of the sacred literature, and in the sacred traditions of both the history of the Nation of Israel as the Olive Tree (the Abrahamic Covenant) and the grafting in of the Wild Olive Shoot (The Church being made up of many different Gentile nations coming in under the blessing of Abraham) all now sharing in the same nourishing sap from the same Olive Root (Christ; Rom.11:1-36; Eph.2:1-22). The Operation of Prophecy or Prophetic Service may legitimately be defined as the understanding of mankind and of history, which accepts meaning, only in the terms of divine concern, divine purpose and divine participation (God actively involved with His people: God through the Performance of Prophecy is and will be actively involved in every aspect of the Spiritual and Natural lives of His people. The higher-end of prophecy will deal with those eternal things which are meant to impact the eternal outcome as it fits into the overall plan of God; while the lower-end of prophecy will for the most part concern those spiritual, natural, and temporal things we encounter in everyday life: what we are to make use of, and how and when to make use of it: those things in the world vs. those things which are not of this world).

Through the Operation of Prophecy or the performance of Prophecy, the Church of God, being enabled by the POWER of the Holy Spirit, and the POWER of the Prophetic Voice: becomes the open door way for God to RESOUND, to echo in the earth, and to speak loud and clear to a wayward, backslidden, perverse, and lost generation! Only through prophecy involving both its WORDS and its WAYS/WORKS can the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ become that necessary vehicle of His Divine Presence and POWER in the earth! ***Ezekiel 37:1-14 <Operation of Prophecy through Intercession>; Acts 2:1-47 <Operation of Prophecy through Preaching> John the Baptist <Operation of Prophecy through the Consecrated Life>. The Church, being called of God is set apart as a Prophetic Nation and the channel for His Divine Flow! The Church as a whole is God’s Prophet to the Nations by way of the Spirit of Prophecy, which is that POWER of God in the Church to BEAR WITNESS to the KINGDOM of God. “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come” (Matt.24:14). A fresh, vibrant, powerful testimony of divine purpose and participation in both WORD (testimony) and DEED (demonstration) concerning the very PERSON of the Lord Jesus Christ “for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (The Body of Believers are a prophetic people, operating by the Spirit of prophecy. The Call of God on every blood-washed and Spirit-filled believer is to testify about Jesus Christ. In that the Holy Spirit enables the believer to operate with His anointing in order to be a WITNESS for the Kingdom of God: this verse of scripture is foundational to the understanding of the overall dynamic and dimension that prophecy or prophetic function serves in the Body of Christ; Rev. 19:10). The origin or source of all Prophecy must begin and end with Christ (Rom.10:4). Christ is the Author and finisher of all prophecy and the performance of prophecy set between these two extremes in both time and eternity (Old & New; Beginning & End; Alpha & Omega; First & Last; Cornerstone & Capstone; Creator & Redeemer: with the CROSS of the Lord Jesus Christ set between these two uniquely different dispensations of the Old and New Testaments; I Pet.1:10-12; Heb.12:1-2; Phil.1:6). All Prophecy in and of itself is incomplete and partial (I Cor.13:1-13); and points to the ultimate destination Jesus Christ where all prophecy finds the ultimate fulfillment of its function! That which is in PART shall be done away with, when that which is PERFECT is come! All Spiritual Service and every Spiritual Gifting functioning in part will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (The maturation of the Bride or the manifestation of the sons of God, and the return of the Bridegroom).

The contrast between the Gift of Prophecy and the Spirit of Prophecy (The Spirit at work behind all Prophecy is the Holy Spirit) is that the former being given by the Holy Spirit to the Church for the purpose of edifying the Body (I Cor.14:4-5), while the latter is given by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of bearing witness to the Kingdom of God and Christ and His Righteousness (this being evangelistic by nature); the Prophetic Mantle is the full-time Call of God to a life and work of Prophetic Service (this will involve a wide range of prophetic functions: the Call of God to a life of intercession “seer”; ministering in the gifts of the Spirit; exhortation; personal prophecy; spiritual warfare; deliverance ministry; the healing ministry; a divine messenger bringing warnings to the Church “watchman”; correction, edification; instruction; discipleship or shepherding the flock as a fathering prophet and most importantly and foundational to the overall spiritual labor of prophetic service the work of maintaining a consecrated life). The Office of Prophecy is an ascension gift or leadership gift to the Body of Christ regarding revelation of the mystery of the Knowledge of Jesus Christ (a foundational work in the Body of Christ; one called to labor in both word & doctrine: Eph.4:7-16; 3:1-7; 2:18-22: a School of Prophets and/or Senior Prophet. Keep in mind that, the Office of Prophecy can and will operate in every aspect of prophetic service or prophetic work).

The Gift of Prophecy is personal ministry to the Believer involving both his personal and spiritual needs. While the Office of Prophecy will focus more on the equipping & maturing of the saints to demonstrate Christ and to operate under that powerful Kingdom Anointing of the Spirit of Prophecy. (The Holy Spirit in conjunction with the Word of God governs the entire Prophetic Spectrum: the Office of Prophecy or the Prophet’s Mantle; the Word of Prophecy or Prophetic Ministry; the Gift of Prophecy or Prophetic Gifting all come under the covering of Holy Spirit Inspiration & Illumination or Spirit of Prophecy and the Prophecy of the Scriptures. The Office places a greater emphasis on the consecrated life; while the Word of Prophecy emphasis is on the message; and the Gift of Prophecy on edification. The Spirit of Prophecy and the Prophecy of the Scriptures provide a Divine Covering and Accountability for all Prophetic Service). It is both the Apostolic & Prophetic Functions that will lay the foundation in preparing the way for the maturation of the Bride and the return of the Bridegroom. The coming of the Kingdom of God is initially an inward transformation! This transformation of the entire tripartite being or triune-man, the maturation of the Bride or the manifestation of the sons of God: works as a prerequisite to cause and invoke the Bridegroom’s return to the earth; this being the ultimate, highest and greatest purpose for the Operation of Prophecy in the Church and the world. The Purpose for the five Ascension Gift Ministries is to develop the “Perfect Man”, and the operation or performance of the Apostolic & Prophetic contributions to the Church is to lay the foundation for this transfiguration of the Believer’s entire triune nature ushering in the radiant, glorious presentation of the Bride (Eph.5:25-26; called according to His purpose; the hope of His calling; to be conformed to the image of His son; Rom.8:28-29; Eph.1:17-19). This is where the Operation of Prophecy is ultimately headed! Prophecy will always look back from which it came and look ahead and point to its final resting place, the Marriage Union of the Glorified Christ with His glorious Bride, the radiant Church!

The Bible tells us except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God. The term “born again” involves the entire process of redemption and not only just the initial stage of salvation (Justification). To be born-again means to come into that “perfect man” in its entirety within the triune being (John 3:3-5: to enter into the womb a second time, speaks of spiritual conception, which points to being born of water (which natural conception symbolizes) water symbolizes the word “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God” I Pet. 1:23; Eph.5:26: referring to (Justification) that initial step of salvation of the overall redemptive process being the hearing and believing on the Word of God (the gospel message); “and be born” or born of Spirit, points to the progress of this redemptive process in bringing many sons to glory “perfection” John 3:3-8; I Pet.1:18-23; Eph.5:26; Heb.2:10; 6:1-3 I John 3:1-3, 9-10, 24; 5:18: Keep in mind that the key word in verse 4 of John 3, is the word “and” which makes a clear separation, and at the same time reveal the need to make this connection between what God has started, and what God will also perform unto the day of His return: Phil.1:6; Heb.12:2. There is rich application within these verses of scriptures where it concerns the overall redemptive process: from Justification (to be cleared of all guilt: to become children of God) to Sanctification; and from Sanctification (separation: discipleship) to Transformation; and from Transformation (change: maturation) to Glorification or the completion of the entire redemptive process (the resurrection of the body). To be born of water and spirit also speaks of natural and spiritual birth. To be born of water means growing in knowledge; but to be born of Spirit speaks of growing in grace; 2 Pet.3:18. It is the Grace of God that will take those things we learn of Him “knowledge” and cause us to mature in Him through manifesting those same things we have learned from Him). To “see the kingdom of God” and then to see the manifestation of this Kingdom is synonymous with “that which is perfect is come”, the perfection of the saints and/or the maturation of the Bride, and the return of the Bridegroom and return of the King: the ushering in of the full demonstration of the Kingdom of God as a finished product in its completed form in all the earth; “The Knowledge of the Glory of Almighty God, in the face of the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, will shine in every heart and will fill all the earth as the waters cover the seas.” For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world, this is the perfect man which is to come, not through careful observation alone; but an appropriation and apprehending of the Kingdom of God (Christ) in you (John 3:3; Luke 17:21; I John 5:4; “He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son” again a reference to the “perfect man” and/or the perfection of the saints, the maturation of the Bride now prepared for the Wedding of the Lamb; and the receiving of their just recompense, rewards and crowns for their spiritual service while on earth: Rev.21:7. This word “overcometh” is found eleven times in I John and Revelations and means: to subdue, prevail, conquer, and to be victorious. The Man-child Company (Gen.17:10; I Sam.1:11; Isa.66:7; Rev.12:5, 13) are mature SONS: a prophetic people, born of the Spirit and CIRCUMCISED OF HEART and manifesting their sonship. The manifestation of the sons of God where Christ is now formed in them! As the redeemed we are all the children of God, sons & daughters of the Most High God; but only after the Maturation of the Bride “the Perfect Man” will we ever be considered the manifested sons of God. We find the term “man child” first in Genesis, the cornerstone Book of the Bible; and we find it last mentioned in Revelations, the capstone Book of the Bible. Through progressive revelation we find the man-child an infant in Genesis; but in Revelations we find the Man-child a mature son. It is also worth mentioning that the term is also tied to Circumcision in Genesis and to New Birth in Isaiah and to the Operation of Prophecy in Samuel). This is the higher-form of prophecy and/or the highest-performance of prophecy! The preparation of a people!

The term PROPHETIC will always speak of the DIVINE: divine involvement, divine inspiration, divine revelation and/or illumination, divine activation, and divine participation/intervention. The Prophetic Voice and/or Prophetic Influence of the Spirit of God will always be God: His Person, His Presence, His Purpose, His provision, and with His Power, actively involved with His People and His work here in the earth today (Num.11:24-29; Acts 1:1-8; 2:37-40; Rev.19:10; Matt.24:14). To reject the Prophetic Voice and Prophetic Influence is to reject God’s active involvement! The Bible tells us to quench not the Spirit by despising the “role of prophesy” in the local Church (do not put-out the SPIRIT’S FIRE by treating the Operation of Prophesy with contempt); but rather test everything and hold on to that which is good, or rather, hold onto that which is coming from God. The Bible tells us to LET THE PROPHETS SPEAK, two or three, and let the others judge (the Church should weigh very carefully what is being spoken). Someone should have a TONGUE, or a REVELATION, even a PROPHECY (the gifting), or a WORD of INSTRUCTION; yet at the same time the Bible tells us, in the local assembly, to Let the Prophets speak (Office of Prophecy; I Cor.14:26-33).

A true balance in the Church is needed, both the Operation of Prophetic Gifting (a positive work of edification, exhortation and comfort; I Cor.14:3, this being the lower-end of prophetic work, and does not require that one operate in the Office of Prophecy) and the Operation of the Office of Prophecy (a negative work which precedes the positive work (and will include the positive work) to root out, pull down, destroy, and throw down before planting and building in the lives of God’s people; Jer.1:10). This needs to be fully recognized and received without prejudice in the Church (I Cor.12:7-11, 27-31; 14:1-6, 26, 29-33, 37-40; I Thess.5:12-24; Acts 9:31; 11:27-30; 13:1-3; 15:32; 21:9-14; Eph.4:11-16; 2 Tim.3:13-17). “That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, because ye despise this word (not just rejecting the message; but rejecting the OFFICE as well), and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon” Isaiah 30:9-12 NIV. Any attempt to remove and/or limit the Prophetic Voice and Prophetic Influence from the assembly: to lose the SEER or PROPHET, or Operation of Prophecy is to lose the Voice of God entirely (this concerns the corporate vision and corporate expression of God’s people as His Holy Nation); and as well, to lose the presence/person, purpose, provision and power of God which labors so deliberately to accompany both: true biblical interpretation & utterance; and divine application & timing: that God might actively demonstrate His will in the midst of His people through a POWERFUL ENCOUNTER WITH HIS PERSON! The lifting up of the horn, the blowing of the trumpet, the sounding of the alarm (speaks of warning the people of impending danger) being set as a watchman on the wall (speaks of prophetic prayer warfare) are all prophetic terms, or prophetic terminology used to describe the work of the prophet, and the anointing of the prophetic mantle and/or the type of work which mostly concerns the higher-end of Prophetic Service (the Office of Prophecy and the Prophetic Mantle are the highest-function of prophetic work; while Prophetic Gifting is the lowest-function of prophetic service).

Notice the people’s rejection of the Word of the Lord and their subsequent refusal to receive the ministry of the Office of Prophecy (warning/correction: I Chron.25:4-5; Joel 2:1-32; Isa.62:1-12; Habakkuk: chapters 1-3; Ezek.3:1-27; 33:1-33). The confession of the people revealing their true spiritual condition “Speak unto us something smooth or easy to listen to, something we want to hear even if it amounts to all but a lie! Tell us pleasant things not right things! Prophesy about the dreams and visions you have had which caters to my own personal carnal desires and worldly lusts (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 4:2-4). Leave this way or get out of my way! Turn aside and get off of this path, or in other words: stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel” (Ezek.12:17-28; Jer.23:1-4, 9-11, 14, 16-22, 25-29, 30-36). The Operation of Prophecy, especially when dealing with the Realm of the Office of Prophecy will always confront people where they are BY A POWERFUL PROPHETIC ILLUMINATION AND DECLARATION OF HIS DIVINE PURPOSE AS ORIGINALLY REVEALED FROM THE VERY BEGINNING OF TIME, ACCORDING TO THE DIVINE BLUE PRINT OR DIVINE PATTERN WHICH WILL NEVER CHANGE IN BOTH THE MIND OF GOD AND IN HIS ORGINAL INTENTION. Prophetic Service when speaking of the Realm of the Office of Prophecy will always confront a man where he lives! Prophetic Service will always seek to renounce the hidden things of dishonesty, deception, and by setting forth the truth, will plainly and openly expose all (everything) by declaring the Word of God to every man’s conscience in the sight of God (his true motivation behind every work) concerning the HOW’S and the WHAT’S and the WHY’S of the Word and Work of God, ESPECIALLY IN HOW IT IS BEING HANDLED or carried out (Amos 7:10-17; 2 Cor.4:1-6).

This is in stark contrast to so much we see today, being called the Office of the Prophet, which is at best the Operation of the Prophetic Gifting. We see a great amount of consolation (comforting) and very little confrontation (confronting: to oppose, to challenge, to encounter; to bring face to face with one’s true self). We see much encouragement (or edification) but little or no discouragement being preached (to turn people away from selfish, self-centered, self-serving goals & activities). We see a lot of preaching dealing with building and planting in the House of God, but very little rooting out of those things that first must be considered in the building process before God will ever consider blessing His people. The Church has learned how to flow with, and as well receive the operation of the Gift of Prophecy; but the Church today is at a very serious crossroad and has been at this place for sometime now. Will the Church adjust herself with the help of God, and repent and come out of Babylon (Rev. 18:3-4 Babylon (Nimrod; Gen.10:8-10; 11:1-9) the systems of this world and the systems of men, directed by the will & wisdom of man. The Church in America is a modern day Church of Laodicea “…because thou art luke-warm . . . (and) thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods (materialism), and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked Rev. 3:14-22: Christ was on the outside of the everyday operations of this particular Church. This Church is a prophetic picture of the “operation of the system of men” in the House of God, where we find MAN as lord (the predominant influence) over the lives of God’s people). Will the Church decide to come up to the next level of consecration and dedication; or will the Church get stuck, and stagnate, refusing to move from the easy going style of the Realm of Prophetic Gifting, which is fast becoming popular among God’s people. It is time for the Realm of the Office of Prophesy to once again invade the simple existence of Church Life, and to confront the man made concepts and programs of so called spiritual leadership. It is interesting, that today the Body of Christ at large, flock to the House of God in order to receive a word from the Prophet. While most of the examples we find in the biblical record when dealing with true Prophets or the true operation of the Office of Prophecy is that the people were running the opposite way, away from the Prophet, not facing the Prophet. But in truth, these people are flocking to the Operation of the Prophetic Gifting; The Body of Christ has put so much pressure on Prophets today to speak only those things that are positive, and that encourage the Church. “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets …Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! For so did their fathers to the false prophets.” (Luke 6:22-23, 26)

This is a blatant indictment against those who call themselves prophets today, or who believe they are operating under a prophetic mantle or the Office of Prophecy when in fact their level of character development and level of prophetic process and progress will not permit this (The Prophetic Office is a growing revelation of God’s character! Today, it is a major task of prophetic service to receive fresh revelation of the Divine Nature of God and to communicate this to the people of God in both word and demonstration. Different prophets will reflect the different aspects of God’s Divine Triune Nature. What this tells us is that some prophets will reflect the gentleness of Jesus, while other prophets will reflect the sternness of Jesus; and all prophets will reflect a middle ground or somewhere between these two extremes). Where in biblical history did true prophets of God have a popular message in their mouth (this does not mean that the prophet of God will never have anything positive to say)? The popular prophets in the biblical record were all those who were considered false in the eyes of Almighty God. Why? Because they sought to please men, rather than to confront sin (Gal.1:10-12: If one is to win the world for Christ; one must be willing to come into conflict with it); this being a reflection of the lack of Christ-like character development in the hearts and lives of those receiving dreams and visions, and who prophesy. What I also find interesting today, is the acceptance of so many prophets, as if that is the norm! Again the biblical record reveals that the false prophets far out numbered the true prophets! This does not mean that God will not and does not have a large body of prophets operating in the earth today; but to assume that the Prophetic Movement today is without its counterfeit is to be grossly naïve! While it is true that many called to Prophetic Service are still in the developmental stages, and the Body of Christ as a whole must be patient with these budding prophets; but the identifying mark or characteristics of true budding prophets is, and will always be the true spiritual condition of their inner-man (it is clear that true prophets of God will make mistakes from time to time no matter how developed they are in the things of God. Prophets err because all are imperfect vessels; but this is what God has chosen to use. Many today have the resources from God to do the greater works, such as casting out devils and healing the sick; but the power of the flesh (and having a strong self-love) still rules in their lives. Only Christ Jesus can deliverance us from the power of self).

Message & Miracle are not enough to validate him as a genuine prophet of God (Matt.7:15-29). The true prophet of God will always work to put to death the beast that wars within his/her own human lust! Just as the scripture states concerning false prophets who inwardly are ravening wolves, unable to control their insatiable carnal appetites: failing to put these evil desires to death that war within their members before the time of their releasing into spiritual service (once a prophet has been released into the Lord’s service, it becomes much more difficult to correct one’s carnal desires; and in some cases, for many almost impossible! Once the old carnal desire (sin-nature), once again, tastes the good life: it will fight with all the powers of hell at its disposal to keep its prosperous position intact at all cost, even at the cost of one’s own eternal soul. This is why it behooves us to yield to and/or partnership with that Divine Process NOW, before we answer the CALL of God or are released into Prophetic Service. Self must be utterly denied, and it’s every claim rejected, this being the true call of God to discipleship for the prophet! We either deny self or we will deny Christ (Satan working in & through our sin/self-nature or our own self-centeredness which gives power to sin: was, and still is the cause for the fall of man, and the error of so many prophets today). To the true prophet of God the “wilderness” is not only his process, but also his protection from himself; thus to the true prophet “the wilderness” has become his best and closest friend, and most intimate companion next to the Holy Spirit of course (2 Cor.12:1-10; willing to be strangers and pilgrims in the earth in order to abstain (stay away) from fleshly lusts which war against our own human soul: I Pet.2:9-11). The Bible tells us that a prophet who speaks, and the word he speaks fails to come to pass: being a presumptuous prophet; or rather, immature and/or under-developed in the things of God; but the prophet who speaks a word in the name of God and than serves idols, this is a False Prophet (idol gods “the god of mammon” idolatry: materialism: carnal appetites “whose God is their belly…who mind earthly things” Phil.3:13-21 and who practice spiritual adultery: “denying the Lord that bought them…through covetousness shall they with feigned (sincere) words make merchandise of you…But chiefly them that walk after the fleshself-willed…Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceiving while they feast with you…Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices…Which forsake the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam…they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption…For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world…they are again entangled therein, and overcome…But this happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again” 2 Pet.2:1-22: this being the true spiritual condition of their inner-man; Deut.18:18-22). It is not our spiritual abilities alone that determine who we really are, but our choices! These do not truly know themselves or know their own self-centeredness! These trust in themselves seeking their own honor (promotion), and trust in their own thoughts about divine things “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” 2 Tim.3:13.

Prophets of the Lord are quite human, with all the same faults and shortcomings we all struggle with. In some respects the Lord’s prophets are in a more intense struggle with their self-nature (sin nature) than most other brethren. They are more often in the fiery cauldron of God’s making which is to refine, test and then temper them for the work He has appointed. It requires many years of training before they are truly prepared for the Office of the Prophet. But even before they are seasoned by God for the work He sets before them, they are on the job training from day one on a trial an error basis which often results in the destruction of His prophets through condemnations and exclusion by the brethren who judge their errors harshly, even brutally. The learning curve for prophets is not only steep but it has unexpected twists and turns that one learns only with time, pressure, pain, patience and trust in the Lord. One of the things a young prophet must encounter, understand and overcome through Christ is the carnal tendency to add to His Word. Receiving a “mixed word” is a common experience in the early years of being His prophet. Learning to discern the difference between “our human soul” speaking to us, from the Lord Jesus Christ speaking to us only comes with seasoning, patience and in and out of abiding in Christ. Only as our intimacy with Jesus grows, coming to know Him deeper and deeper, can we distinguish between “our soul” and “His Spirit”. The growth part of a prophet’s walk steadily eliminates the mixing of self with His Word.

This first generation of prophets that God used to “start up” this Prophetic Movement will not be the same generation of prophets that He will use to FINISH IT (this does not necessarily have to apply to everyone, meaning that some will make the transition from the Gifting to the Office). The initial stage of introduction to the restoration of Prophetic Service in the House of God, focused for the most part, on the importance of the Operation of Prophecy in the local assembly as it pertained mainly to Prophetic Gifting (now this makes perfect sense as God slowly but surely brings into the Church what it needs at a pace it could handle). However, there is coming a shifting of emphasis, as is now already upon us, the complete restoration of Prophetic Service as found in the Office of Prophecy! This Operation of the Office of Prophecy will act as a FORERUNNER, making ready a people, prepared as a Bride without spot or wrinkle having a heart yearning for the return of the Bridegroom. The Church is currently operating out of the anointing that flows from the Holy Place the Second Dimension: the Place of the believer’s service. But it is in the Mind of God to have a people: that will flow out of that anointing that comes from behind the veil: that Place of the believer’s sacrifice (that place where the believer will experience a total surrender of all things, and an apprehending of all that God mandated for the Church to receive). When this happens, the way we conduct ministry, its focus, its purpose and function will be drastically altered! It will not look like anything we have ever seen before! The restoration of a true genuine Joshua Generation that will take the Kingdom by force: this generation will reflect our God as a Man of War! Presently the Church is obligated to continue in those things that currently reside; but at the same time, we are required to have a heart for those things that He has purposed for the Church to grow into, and this we will do if God permits, (Phil.3:15-16; Heb.6:1-3).

There is coming a NEW WAVE of Prophetic Force in the earth; God is going to take the Operation of the Office of Prophecy to an unprecedented level, never before seen in the history of mankind (this speaks of the next generation of prophets, being a VIOLENT (Militant) Generation, Matt.11:12. God is raising up a generation of prophets after the Order of Jeremiah the Prophet: being that balanced interplay between MERCY & TRUTH as this “Weeping Prophet” declares the Word of the Lord like a FIRE and a HAMMER! Jer.23:29; (5:14; 6:11). “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged (Prophetic Ministry): and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil (the Operation of the Office of Prophecy)Prov.16:6; Ps.25:10; 57:3; 86:15; “Mercy and Truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other” Ps.85:10. “Justice and judgment are thy habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face” Ps.89:14). This particular “Company of Prophets” will go to all whom God will send them, and speak whatever God has commanded them to speak! God will put His Word in their MOUTH: to root-out, and to pull-down, to destroy and to throw- down, and to build and plant a NEW! These God will make a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and a brazen wall against the prevailing sins of the whole land. These will be set against kings, princes, and against its priests, as well as the people of the whole land, to set in order all things, thus ushering in the return of the King (Jer.1:4-10, 17-19).

Failed Prophecy (Prophecy that misses the true mark: a false balance to it’s prophesies; prophesying out of balance; Prov.11:1. Prophetic Gifting is a true work of the Holy Spirit, but if not given and/or received with consideration to the other very important workings, when dealing with the entire role of Prophetic Service: what is meant to be a positive, productive work of edification can thus become unproductive, having a more detrimental effect or a long term negative effect. If one is encouraged on a consistent basis, but at the same time never discouraged from those things that are less than desirable, than these unchecked habits, motivations, desires and thoughts, etc. will end up corrupting, that for which encouragement was given in the first place! If one is encouraged concerning those things that are desirable, but never discouraged from those things that are less than desirable, then the less than desirable things will end up corrupting the desirable things. This is an every day fact of life, thus the entire role of Prophetic Service is called upon to rescue the Body of Christ from those things that seek to threaten to contort or twist out of shape God’s Eternal Purposes at work in the heart, mind and spiritual lives of His Covenant People.). The Bible tells us, that of Times and Seasons God should not have to address his people. But when they shall say PEACE (prosperity) and SAFTY (no consequences for sin) then sudden destruction shall come upon them. We are the Children of the DAY/LIGHT (the Kingdom) we are not of the night, nor of the darkness (of this world) therefore let us not sleep as others do; but let us WATCH (be alert; be prayerful, be spiritually active) and be SOBER (be serious minded and set apart).

The building and planting of today must be balanced with the necessary rooting out and throwing down of those things that jeopardize the strength and security of the STRUCTURE (those things that hinder, thus exposing the Church to danger and peril). The Church today is attempting to BUILD a beautifully adorned structure; and yet at the same time is unaware of the fact that they are building this structure upon a rotted out foundation. Many get stuck on the LOWER-END of the Operation of Prophecy, instead of answering the HIGHER CALL to Prophetic Service (Jer.1:1-19; Rev.18: 1-24; Jer.14:14-16; Ezek.13:1-12; Zech.13:1-5; I Thess.5:1-11). God is raising up today a Prophetic Remnant, and in turn raising up a Prophetic Army, and in the midst of them a Prophetic Voice! God has SET in the Church Prophets, a foundational ministry that works to establish God’s people by calling them back to God’s original design and desire for their election. God has and will raise up individual believers (prophets) and placing on them a measure of His grace according to the gift or FACET OF CHRIST WHICH CONCERNS PROPHETIC SERVICE. The Prophetic Mantle now rests on them, so that the Prophetic Anointing might now rest upon His people. If the Church will just hear and obey His Prophetic Voice, they will be empowered to carry that same Prophetic Message; and being clothed with the very glory of that very same message, which is always Christ: the Church being in one accord with His true nature and true purpose, being an extension of His Ministry, and a continuation of His Message (Eph.3:1-21 (7-13, 16-19, 21); Eph.4:1-32).
